Among the many benefits that crowdfunding has helped realize, what stands out is how projects have used gamification concepts to enable projects receive the necessary funding. From game thinking approaches like location-based services to touching a raw nerve by using human psychology learnings for cause portals – crowdfunding is an ideal example of the ability to gamify any non-game context for a real world objective.
